Entry Requirements 2012 - Journalists and Autors

Journalistic articles and photo reportages can be submitted for the Henri Nannen Award 2012, which have been written in German and published in 2011 in a German-language newspaper or magazine or on a German-language website. Translations, book publications, manuscripts and audiovisual formats are not accepted.

Entry Deadline is January 4, 2012.

The entries for the Henri Nannen Award 2012 will only be accepted online. The contributions for all categories must be sent in per e-mail as a PDF document to: wettbewerb@henri-nannen-preis.de

Important

• the PDF document be exactly the same as the originally published article.
• the date and place of the publication be easily identifiable.
• the magazine publications be combined into one PDF file.

• the PDF document be exactly the same as the originally published photo reportage.
• the date and place of the publication be easily identifiable.
• the PDF document of a photo series from magazine publications be made up of double pages.

• the completed registration form, stating the category as a PDF document.
• the article / photo reportage as a PDF document.
• From authors / photographers, who enter their own work, a short, briefly outlined "Making of…" is requested:
• Under which general conditions did the article or photo reportage originate (e.g. working conditions, restrictions, costs or time pressure)?
• Were there special circumstances (e.g. research difficulties, considerable opposition to publication)?
• Which reactions did the publication trigger?
• What were the consequences of the publication (also for the author / photographer personally)?
